FAQ #15: Why does the Regional Center have the final say
on whether my budget is approved or not?
Remember, the funds used come from the Regional Center’s budget, which means they are government monies. It is the Regional Center’s job to make sure government money related to disabilities is spent wisely. This project does not replace the government. It’s a new way of looking at helping you use government money. We think it will give you a lot more freedom to choose what you want! Let’s work together and make a plan that’s right for you.
