Faq #8: Can I choose anything and the government for pay for it?

The saying "The sky’s the limit!" does not apply to this project. The government dollars used to help you come from taxes that everybody pays. One of the rules the government made about this project is you have to make "good use of public funds." In other words, you have to think about what you really need. After all, there is only so much money in California. There are a lot of people that have needs just like you do. We want everyone to have the life they want, as much as possible. That’s why your family and friends can help you choose wisely what type of supports and help you need, and your broker can help you access those supports/services. You can’t have all of the pie, but you do get a slice!!
